This weekend, the annual Thanksgiving 'Tour de Relatives' was the pilgrimage. Off to Austin for the big meal with oldest daughter and family and youngest son, then off early in the morning to Bass Pro Shops for an unbeatable deal on an electric smoker. I have several charcoal and stick-burners, but I wanted to give this a try. We'll see how it goes.
The next port of call was my folks, and then down to Corpus Christi to see next-oldest daughter and family. Had a nice peaceful evening at a friend's coast house in Rockport (thanks, Nanette!), and then over to see eldest son. Stopped for a little BBQ for dinner, and then home late last night. Whew!
